What we collect

• Enquiry forms: the service you need, Eircode or area, your name, phone number, optional email and message.
• Resource downloads: your email address and phone number.
• Review feedback: what you write, your name and town, and whether you give permission to publish it.
• Phone calls: what you tell us about your project.
• Analytics: privacy-friendly, aggregate website statistics (pages viewed, referrer, device type). No advertising cookies.

Why we use it

To respond to your enquiry, quote and carry out engineering work you ask for (contract and pre-contract steps), to keep records required for professional and legal purposes (legal obligation and legitimate interests), and to understand how the website is used (legitimate interests).

Who processes it

Form submissions are delivered by Formspree. Website hosting and analytics providers process technical data on our behalf. We don't sell or share personal data for marketing.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted within 24 months. Project records are kept for as long as professional and legal obligations require.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction of or deletion of your data, object to processing or ask us to restrict it, by emailing hello@structuralengineer.ie. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
